CoC is a mobile base‑builder where you attack for loot and war stars while upgrading your village. Meta knowledge helps optimise your progression and attacks.

Progression & Base Types

Don’t rush your Town Hall; max your lab, camps and heroes before upgrading. Farming bases protect storages and collectors; war bases aim to avoid three‑stars with traps and anti‑charge designs. Trophy bases sit in‑between.

Attack Archetypes

At lower TH levels, use Giants and Wizards or Dragon spam. From TH9 onwards, Queen Walk into Hog Riders/Miners, Lavaloon or Hybrid are strong. Plan funnel, kill squad and main army separately. Always bring a Clan Castle with siege machine, troops and spells.

Farming vs War

For farming, use cheap armies like BARCH or Baby Dragons to snipe collectors quickly. In war and CWL, plan your attack around the base’s weaknesses, taking out key defences (Eagle, infernos) with your heroes or spells first.
