PUBG is a tactical battle royale with realistic ballistics and punishing fights. The meta prioritises positioning, early rotations and smart engagements over fragging for kills.

Position & Rotations

Controlling high ground, ridges and compounds is more important than kills. Rotate early to avoid being caught by the blue zone and to secure a good position for the next circle. Avoid crossing open fields without smokes or vehicles.

Loot & Weapons

Always upgrade to level 2 armour and helmets, with level 3 when available. Run a mid‑range rifle (M416, Beryl) paired with a DMR or sniper (Mini, SLR, M24). Smokes are the most valuable utility; carry multiple for revives and rotations. Don’t over‑loot; get geared and start moving.

Endgame

In late circles, use throwables (grenades, molotovs) to flush enemies from cover. Play the edge to your advantage by gatekeeping rotating teams. In squads, split angles and watch flanks to avoid being third‑partied. Patience and good positioning win more games than aggressive pushes.
