Operators, destruction and information warfare.Siege is a tactical shooter where information and destruction matter more than raw aim. Attackers and defenders play asymmetrical roles, with operators bringing unique gadgets to deny walls, gather intel or deny entries.
Attack & Defence Fundamentals
Attackers typically include a hard breacher (Thermite, Hibana), soft breacher (Sledge, Buck), anti‑utility (Thatcher, Flores), information gatherer (Dokkaebi, Lion) and fragger (Ash, Zofia). They drone to locate defenders, clear roamers, open walls and plant the defuser. Defenders split between anchors (Smoke, Jäger) and roamers (Vigil, Mozzie). They place denial gadgets (Bandit, Mute) on walls and hold crossfires. Time is the defenders’ best weapon; waste attackers’ time by delaying and forcing them into rushed executes.
Information & Map Control
Siege is about info. Attackers who lose drones early lose rounds; defenders who lose cameras become blind. Use drones and bulletproof cameras to gather intel and coordinate executes. Map knowledge matters: know the common plant spots, drone holes and vertical angles.
Learning Path
New players should learn one attacker and one defender from each role archetype, focusing on basic droning and positioning. Intermediate players should memorise common site setups and rotate based on calls. Advanced players refine operator line‑ups for each map, adapt defence setups mid‑round and manage the clock to their advantage.
