Smite 2 – Early Meta Framework

What carries over and how to adapt.

Smite 2 builds upon the original with a new engine and some reworked kits. While specific balance will shift, the broad structure from Smite remains: five roles, Conquest as the main mode and objectives like Gold Fury and Fire Giant deciding games.

Continuity

The tri‑lane map, roles and class identities carry over. Solo, Jungle, Mid, ADC and Support roles function similarly, though some gods have shifted classifications. Objectives like Gold Fury and Fire Giant remain centrepiece win conditions.

What’s New

Some gods are redesigned, and item and relic systems have been streamlined. Expect differences in feel and pacing due to improved animation and movement. Experiment with builds, but remember your job in the team composition — front line, initiation, DPS or utility.

Advice

Approach Smite 2 by adapting your knowledge from Smite rather than starting from scratch. Learn the updated ability interactions and adjust itemisation. Focus on farming, rotations and objective control, just like in the first game.
